Posted by jstokes on Jan 3 2018 - 8:44pm

Scouts.... Start Your Engines!!!! This year's pinewood derby theme is "Military"
Check-In / Inspection will be Friday, January 19th from 6pm to 8pm at NBUMC Fellowship Hall. Cars will be "impounded" from this point until the races. The purpose of this is to save time the following morning. Scouts will be able to test their cars on the track once the track is set up. Care must be taken not to damage cars while testing, but gives an opportunity to look for problems. The Pinewood Derby will be held Saturday January 20th 9:30AM to Noon at Nichols-Bethel United Methodist Church. There will be a prize for the car judged best in theme (decorated, designed etc...) and of course trophies for Pack winners and Medals for Den winners. A pizza party will follow at the conclusion of the Derby.

Pack 769 - September Pack Meeting

Posted by jstokes on Sep 22 2017 - 10:12pm

Thank you everyone who attended the Piney Orchard Trail hike on 9/16/2017. The boys had a great time on their 2.7 mile A-Z scavenger hunt through the preserve. They used their imaginations to select sights, sounds, and signs of items in nature including that which began with Q, X, and Z including "Quiet Ants"

We look forward to seeing everyone at our Join Scouting pack meeting this Monday September 25th at 7pm. Please invite your friends to join us. We will have games and activities for the boys while we provide additional information to the parents.
